 Hey guys how are you all  I hope you are fine. Today we are going to discuss some types of the network which are used in our daily life. Before knowing types of network we should learn about 

What is a network?

The network is a way to connect two or more electronics devices together.With the help of network we can send information and data or we can communicate with someone wirelessely or wirely.Nowadays living without network or internet seems to be impossible. Everything in this world has connected through internet or network.




These are some of the basic networks given below:-

1. Personal Area Network (PAN)

According to it's name 'personal' means network used to connect our personal devices such as data transmission between our PC or Laptop or between our mobile phones,tablets,etc.



2. Local Area Network (LAN)

Local area network is a computer network used to connect computers and electronics between Local Areas like school,University, Labroatry, Offices, etc.



3. Wide Area Network (WAN)

The easiest way to explain Wide Area Network is that the wide area network is collection on LAN. Wide Area Network connect many Local area network World Widely.It can be also defined as Network of Network.



4. Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)

MAN  usually connects large areas by connecting more LAN  but it is smaller than WAN. It can be extended between 5 to 50 kilometers.



These were some of the common network that everyone should know and which are used everywhere.
